New World Driveby record at MECA finals

thats a ok score we do it for fun in omaha after shows... there are a few that will do over that . the van we have will do mid 140s in drive by..

is that by any chance on an AC mic or a radio shack meter? i dont wanna be the one to call bullshit, but something smells funny.

i would think that if there are people who consider the new world record to be an "ok" score, and there are some that are doing over 4db louder, then they would be competing and would probably hold the world record instead...

we do this on fast shows to make the day fun we use the term lab ... van is not a daily driver but will play music with bass around 60 hz ... teri's vestiva did low 30s about 20 feet away... its with the black primmerd van that was at usaci finals

im calling bullshit until its done at a show. Erics van is insane and dont think it will be beat for awhile. Espcially if Tommy Mckenny(SP) could only do a 132.5

Why are you talking about something that does low 30's, when your original comment was about mid 40's? Even if that weren't confusing, its irrelevant. Feels like a bait n switch to me.
And frankly, someone that's hair-brain enough to think they can make a wild claim like that he and hhis pals bump world record level performance, plus, locally... in a couple sentence post with no shred of proof, and expect anyone to take them seriously... has issues. Even if its were true. Which it obviously isn't... given your 'evidence'.

in fairness to that, ambient noise at some show here in charlotte about 5 or 6 years ago (god i know this was a big show, and it was the first show SI ever made an appearance at, because i was at the boothe, all dressed up... even with my afro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif ) was 130Db. it was loud as hell, and that was anywhere you stood in that center, and it was large.

but also, saying you did that score at 20' is way different than 6'...

and im sure it "seemed" that loud, but i guaruntee it wasnt that loud... hell, my truck with 8 12"s shook a whole parking deck, and would literally set off alarms several floors below my vehicle, but it wouldnt even do a 150 in the cab...

not my car at 20 feet a person thats in my class that beats me all the time had to show off and park some place around 15 to 20 feet and did low 30s after i rolled by the mic........didnt know there was a such thing as drive by records just like there is no trunk world records . we have no meca in the plains so have no clue as to the classes they run.... next season at stereo west or metro audio show. ill have to take a few vids .there are some loud drive by cars .. we should street beat 165 166 next year instead of the 159 160 we did this year so maybe ill try to do a meca show . sorry for the contraversy . we just do drive by for fun .
