well on my sundown the remote adjuster is for the gains, and it sure can drive it into clipping as it just replaces the gain at the amp to the gain at the remote source... turn it up 100% and pop goes your woofer

doesnt do it to mine unless i turn my GAIN all the way up on the amp.. i have it set about halfway up.. the bast boost all the way and bass knob all the way if i want it to sound loud... and it doesnt pop with those settings.. i have my bass boost down to about 1/3 of the way for daily driving

if this is true then its still bad, the bass knob on the amp shouldnt be used
