Well I finally got a decent 4 channel amp, and the box is done, so it looks like monday the install starts.

What do you think of my stuff? It's not perfect, but it's been pieced together over a long time with very little money.

15'' Fi Q

Autotek SX1200X

Mark Antony 800.4

Sony XS-HF167 Components (Yeah I know...sony...but these speakers are good)

Not pictured : Crappy rear fill. 2 runs of 4-gauge wiring, it's all I can afford for now since I already had it. CarPC.

Looks purrdy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif I wonder how those speakers sound w/ the ribbon tweeters. Good luck with your install. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have monday, tuesday, and wednesday completely off of work so I'll be getting a lot of work done. The only thing that might not get done is the component speakers, since my plan is to fiberglass them into the door panels, and I've never done any glassing before.

Box is built for the sub, just needs carpeting. I can't slide it in without removing my bumper to get to my trunk latch, so I'll be saving that for last. I am going to make an amp rack for the two amps that sits behind the sub box and is visible when the seats are folded down. All wires are ran, just needs tidying up. CarPC has been installed for a while now, just needs more cleaning up of the wires, and I need to finish sanding and painting my dashboard bezel for the touchscreen monitor. Sometime I'd also like to clean up my center console where my USB ports and keyboard is, and I'd like to fiberglass a new case for the carpc that sits behind one of the tail lights so the PC isn't getting blasted so directly by the subwoofer.

Lots of install pics will come next week.

Looks good, but myself I am not happy with Fi anymore. Stupid sub ripped around the surround part, how you ask? Good dam question. Oh yeah, I would send it back for the 2nd time but fawk it! I will just go with another company being it took 2 months to get it back the first time.

Rest of the stuff looks good though. Those Sony's are the higher end of their componets if I am not mistaken and nice amps to boot. Good luck!

I listened to the comps at a local shop before I bought them, they sounded really nice, just as good as the Boston's next to them being sold for $549

The ribbon tweeters were what sold me, love at first sight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'm going to flush mount them in my A-Pillers
