i'm actually pretty sure in most southern hick states you are allowed to have a class 3 license thats not a ffl license
yes yes you are

Projectors suck ass. I grew up with one.
Unless you have a dedicated room for a nice ~$2000 one. I have seen some sick setups. And also some garbage one like my buddies that he had in his apt with wires hanging all over and a terrible resolution.

While I'd choose Samsung for the superior brand, Sharp is only a notch below it. I don't like how the Samsung only has two HDMI inputs, and how it isn't a Smart TV with internet capabilities. And looking at Sears website for LED selection, those are the only two good options really.

Personally I'd try to find a good deal on this Vizio: http://store.vizio.com/led-lcd-hdtvs/m550vse.html?___SID=U

Here it is at Wal-Mart for $900: Vizio 55" Class LED 1080p 120Hz refresh rate HDTV, M550VSE: TV & Video : Walmart.com

Which, after sales-tax is more than it is at the Vizio store. Maybe the free shipping would be worth it though.

Personally I wouldn't settle for paying $850 and getting a TV as featureless as the Samsung. But I also don't think I'd be willing to buy Sharp. I'd either up my budget a little, or wait for a good deal on the Vizio.

Look at the reviews on plasma vs LED.
The high end TVs with best reviews are plasmas. Cheap junk is LED.
No.... A few years ago Plasma held the edge over LCD. Strongly at that. Plasma over LCD all day. But now with LED technology in the LCD displays, a quality LED will best a plasma. It's very silly that you can even pretend to say LED is junk. It's the new technology, they've perfected it at this point. It's much thinner. It's much lighter. It's much more efficient. And it matches picture quality.

Yup, vizio is garbage.

And about the samsung not having smart tv or HDMI = use a **** receiver or HDMI hub. Smart TV is stupid, my xbox/computer/bluray/ps3 is better than my Samsung Smart TV (my tv has it, dont use it)

Id rather pay less for a TV without all that extra **** to be honest.

And sharp is way more than a notch below samsung. Sharp is actually very low quality chinese junk.

The only thing other than a samsung that I would consider is the new LG models

I still don't find the plasma advantage over LCD. I guess it depends on your budget. Are you looking at TVs less than $1,000? LCD is probably better. For the moar expensive crowd, plasma is better.
