NEW TV, aquos 46", audio doesnt work when switched to input (xbox) WTF!!!

Trying to hook up my new tv, a sharp aquos 46", I hooked it up to our cable box and it plays tv just fine volume and picture. But when you switch the input to input 2, the xbox shows and plays, but theres no audio!!!

I cant find it in the manual where to get that to work

Also any tricks or tips with this tv, I gotta figure out how to switch it from 480p aswell

what cable are you using for audio? hdmi? rca? optical? and what are you using for video? hdmi? rca?

the xbox has to be calibrated to use each output

you'll need hdmi or at least componant cables if you want HD (720p,1080i or 1080p)

the cable the xbox came with. You can switch it to HDMI on the back of the xbox, and I connected the 3 rca male green/blue/red from the bacl of the xbox into the back of the tv on input 2.

I switch the input to input 2, the game plays and looks perfect, just no sound!!!

should be green, blue, 2 reds and a white.

blue, green, and one of the reds is for the video

the white and the other red is for audio.

that would be a component cable..... check your audio settings on your TV , it has nothing to do with the xbox...

Probably didn't plug in the red and white audio on the TV from the Xbox, as noted above.
