I found an easy solution to make that install look 100x Better.
Cut another board the entire width of the trunk that will go across the entire setup... the amps, crossovers, subs and distro/fuseblocks.
cut out areas to show off the amps, crossovers and distroblock and subs. But still hiding the actual edges and wiring of the amps, crossovers and distroblock. carpet that..install it and that will give the inset flush mount look with just 1 more board....
sort of like the board infront of the woofers in this setup. but you would just cut more holes to show your amps and crossovers etc.. but still hiding the edges and wiring..
actually.. u'd also have to cut 1 more strip of board to cover the gap along the top... cause unlike in this picture in your setup the top of the box is visible...
