New Toys

Here are the new toys I've gotten this week. I picked up the Treo's from Shawn Fleming Sunday, the eclipse 8454 from zebo on wednesday, the IDQ8's off ebay came thursday, and the CD3 horns from GSteg came today. I just bought a zapco refence 200 for the horns, and am planning on a 350 for the IDQ's, and probably a Viper d2500.1 on each of the treo csx 18's. Let me know what you think of my system.

your running the crazy series treos? those magnets weigh a ton. you might have to reinforce them in the box. depening on how they are mounted

Yea those are them. The magnets are 874 oz on each one. They are heavy as hell, we will find a way to mount them though, my 95 impala ss has a big trunk, lol (understatement). How do you think it will all sound?

yes, so it probably weighs a little less I guess with the hole going down it

Yea those are them. The magnets are 874 oz on each one. They are heavy as hell, we will find a way to mount them though, my 95 impala ss has a big trunk, lol (understatement). How do you think it will all sound?

Ehh...IIRC mine weighed right around 65 lbs.

The vented pole piece allows for better VC cooling, so they are better for daily than the CSX's with a solid bottom plate

Yea they are about 60-65 each, I put it on the scale, but the magnet is bigger around than the scale, and when i went to get it off the scale came with it lol. I only paid 275 each they are freshly rebuilt 1.5ohm coils. Shawn rebuilt it with a stiffer spiders, I believe he said the same as on the XXX, instead of the thinner softer ones treo uses. He said that the MT also uses the same ones, but 4 instead of 2. He said normally they only take about a month to break in, but the way it is now its gonna take 2-2.5 months, but that when it does it will never wear out.
