New TOOL Album

I'm just listening to the new TOOL album as I write this and it was definately worth the wait!! All you TOOL fans won't be disappointed. It will be released on May 2nd. My first impression is that it reminds me of Aenima more than Lateralus. The first single will be Vicarious (track 1) although I think Jambi (track 2) is just as good, if not better. Rosetta Stoned (track 8) is also another stand-out track. TOOL is definately at the top of their game, as always. I know what I will be playing in my car for the next week or so...

PS. I will also be buying the album when it comes out... Support the bands who have earned your support...

Sorry man, I can't agree with you at all. There were only 2 tracks that I thought were decent, and the rest sucked. Too much chanting and weird lyrics, and Maynard also had a lyric about a birkenstock...

I was thoroughly disappointed. Most of the vocals are very low and the riffs seem very repetetive.
