I just installed a 6000ub in my 02 jeep grand cherokee, and i have the stock infinity system in there (changing it out soon hopefully)... is there something i should know about the HPF setting on my head unit? I think it has 63hz up to like 100hz or so and i cant really tell if it is doing much, maybe just a little bit of bass increase from the speakers

The HPF or "high pass filter" is the cutoff for your highs. It only allows signal above the chosen cutoff to pass through. There should be no bass other then mid bass passing through. So you should notice less bass not more.
