Also, do you plan on doing the installation yourself, or paying someone to install it for you? Hopefully the answer is you'll do it yourself. It isn't really that difficult, but it will probably take you most of a weekend if it's your first time. But you get the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself, you know exactly how everything is hooked up, and it's a good learning experience. Plus you save money!

yeah thats another thing I was going to ask, I really have no background in this at all so I'm not sure, If I got someone to install it all what would it approximatly cost?

Actually, Crutchfield has some decent videos and articles for amp and speaker installation. It's a decent beginner's how-to. Then just come back here and ask any questions that come up.

about how much is "too much"? I will definaltey look at those guides tho and see what I can do. Also, do I need a specific size of speaker to fit my car? Ive been looking at 6.5"s but am not sure if thats right or if other sizes wuld be better?

Probably a couple hundred. Hard to say, different everywhere.

As for size, I believe 6.5" is what you need. That's what Crutchfield says.
