I'm back and I honestly can't say that I've learned much, I've read and read and read and none of it has gotten me anywhere.
I can't just read and learn, I need to experience things first hand, and be shown what they are, how they work, all that.
I've been taking advice from another forum and a few of my friends.
I'm going to be switching to a 1996 Chevy Blazer (S10 style) 4DR, with that being said, this is what I've been provided with, since I can't learn by just reading or watching youtube videos, my dad and my friend are going to be installing the system that I end up buying, and with that, I'm hoping I'll learn something.
I'm going to have $1,000-1500 to spend this time around.
I'll be needing 6 speakers total, for the doors and the dash.
This is the setup that was recommended to me:
Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 P2-2X12 Dual 12" Loaded Subwoofer Box
AQ750 Amplifier
Rockford Fosgate Power T1652 6-1/2" T1 2-way Coaxial Car Speakers 2 sets of these
Scosche SA464 4" x 6" to 4" Speaker Adaptors - Sonic Electronix
Rockford Fosgate T142 (09-t142) 4" Power T1 Series 2-way Coaxial 1 set of these
Rockford Fosgate R400-4D (R4004D) 400W 4-Chan Class D Prime Amp
The InstallBay AK4ANL Complete 4 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit
The InstallBay AK8 Complete 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit
Stinger SHD820 (SHD-820) HPM Series Fused Power Distribution Block
Absolute P0-20 Silver 1/0 Gauge Power Cable Wire
Tsunami X204-17 (x20417) 17 ft. of 4-Channel Super Dual Twist
Tsunami TSBT-PN (tsbtpn) Positive and Negative Battery Terminal
Is there anything missing? Are the parts for the Big 3 upgrade included in this? I've looked it over and I can't tell.
I'll also be purchasing an Optima Yellow Top battery for this vehicle, as it needs a new one anyway, and I'm sure it can't hurt to get a nice battery for the setup.
As far as what I've gathered, I should have a 105 amp alternator.
Please let me know if I should consider an entirely different setup, especially brand wise.
Thanks all for the help so far. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
