Wrong, wrong, and wrong. Depending on year and make, all 3 brands have very excellent gear.
Ill agree with that as well, thinking about it.Since 89 ive been into car audio, with my first set up of 6 Roadmaster 6x9 a set of 5.25 sony 2ways, a Sparkomatic eq, and went on to some real good amplifiers, and good speakers ect,.I still run alot of old school amplifiers, along with some older speakers, and new.Within my time now, I feel that the older Zed made amplifiers are to me some of the cream of the crop, and still as of today working as the day I bought them.Every Brand has theyre version of cheap, and High quality, as the Audiobahn brand that everyone seems to trash, without even experiencing for yourselves , and only hearing from others,.I can tell you that frm experience, that The Entry level amps from Audiobahn/Dubb were no where near the quality of the HCT High level amps, that were expensive, and well made, that I personally used my self, and still have. Those were, and are still some of the best amps I have ever owned to date(HCT2200,HCT4125,HCT2.75, ect.even the newer 18001DT.Yet, My Autotek 99,66,44,HC66 Mean Machine were the cream of the crop that everyone seeks after, that Autoteks SS line, cant even begin to compare of todays amplifiers.Look at Highfonics today, and look at the VII,VIII Series amps, I mean? They just dont come close.I mean I can take an Odin VII series amplifier bridge it @2ohms, and it will hit just as hard, if not harder than the Onyx 1000, all day long, even that 66 Mean Machine.Yet, I wouldnt buy that brand of Autotek of todays amps.Every brand has the good, and bad yrs of making.RF, the Punch HD 45/75/ect? Great amps,Alpine Duo-B,SStream amps, I mean Thers even amps that most of you never heard of that I still have to date(20yrs old) that still work as the day I bought them Concord 50,2 Digital Ref series, that ended up being HarmonKardon, and JBL.You just have to know what you are buying, and what its worth, and how its going to perform.Just thank these guys for having this forum for information, that I didnt have back then, and spent so much money cooking amps, blowing speakers, hooking up 6ch xovers , learning how to wire speakers up multiple subs, ect, without the internet, that we have today. So yes, I agree with that statement, as I have used. These days, you just about get what you pay for, unles you search for deals, ect.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
