Well guys, here I am, about 10 minutes ago I decided to join the almighty sundown bandwagon (for inexpensive quality)purchasing an SA-10 D4; I'm going ported at 33hz with 1-1.35 cubes to spare. Powered by my Brx @2 ohms for a "whopping" 1400 rms (still debating on lowering the gains until I trust it). Should I keep my box on the underside of the specs (1cu) since I'm overpowering it, or use my full 1.35 cubes?

Typically, if you are intending to "overpower" a sub you would want to go a little smaller on the box specs. Someone with more experience can tell just how much smaller, sundownz is on here, check his vendor page.

i'd go for recommended enclosure size, but make sure you don't cook it with that much pwr. set your gains right and all other settings on headunit and amp.
