Sold my amp and subs locally... I'm looking to go with a single sub setup. I've got quite a bit of trunk space. I'm going to hit mid to high 140s legal from the trunk.

I'm looking at using the Alpine mrx m240 but that's in the suv so either way I'm buying a new amp.

What kind/brand of sub should I get? This is going to be a budget build to so I can't spend more than about 300 on the sub.

Oh, new box will need to be built so I'm open to suggestions on that too.

FI BL 15, Sundown X, DC Level 4? Or buy used subs with greater RMS ratings

mid to high 40's can be done from a truck with 2 10's or a single 12 if done right

Hoping someone who has experience with a lower powered sub doing good numbers out of a trunk... But I'll look into those.

can be done ,just need to everything right , i did a 141 from a trunk with one type r 12 and 1200 watts rms
