New subs

I'm currently looking at upgrading my setup. I am going to get an SCV-3000d and am wondering what would be better for output. It's either 2 sa-12s or 1 Zv5. I've heard great things about both but am not sure which one would be louder at 3kw. Thanks.

sa are good sub 2 is more cone area but they not a spl sub.. z in correct box should be louder..

wait a little while and get other opinions.. i'd guess may depend some on car u have, if u have suv (lots of room) i'd say get a z15 with big box.. if u have trunk then the 1 z in good size low tuned box may be deeper/louder than 2 sa's especially if box not quite big enough but because of sa lower power handling i would think the z could make use of all the power u have as long as u do a box well (can't put giant sub like that in pos box tuned at 45 hz etc)

Thank you but I have a small car, I don't really have the room for a huge box.

that sub will destroy a prefab.. so build or get a good box with 1.5" front baffle tuned to 32-35hz if u like rap, and set ss filter just below what port tuning is.. u can get box like 1 in my avatar on ebay but they no cheaper than getting someone to build it.. u can tell him what tuning u want though (just tell him 2hz lower than u want to account for sub disp.)
