i find it hard to believe that someone hit 164 with two 12s. if that is true then 4 twelves and twice as much power would hit like 170 or higher. i'd like to hear what scottie johnson would say about that. he hit 170.6 with 12 brahma 15s i think and more watts than you or i could afford. the loudest set of twelves ive ever heard was a set of diamond d9s at 148, of course, that was a daily running system. i have a buddy with an eclipse titanium 15 and 1600wrms hitting just 151. im about to put two RE SX 15s and am only expecting to hit mid 150s. two twelves, ill believe it when i see it, and ill only accept it if its on the Termlab sensor.

Unless it's a purppose built SPL extreme vehicle...then they didn't do evn near a 160.

i think its funny that people would disbelieve a truck sponsored by zapco. the diamond d9 is by far NOT a SPL sub.

strokers huh??? never had personal experience with them, but according to CA&E they are a **** good speaker.

I can't really find a coherent thought, or retort in this entire paragraph. Poorly worded, and I really don't know what you're saying.

Tell them to run SS1-2 then...as they'd be beating everyone in the world by around 3dB's with subs that are 6" less in diameter each.

Who cares who thier sponsors are... they're not hitting 164's on the termlab legal.... maybe in the port, or on a very old ac mic. Either way... just so you know the world champ for SS 1-2 did 164.1 at finals.
