New subs after mine were stolen!

My older 2 12" Alpine Type-R's were recently stolen and I am looking to replace them. I have been out of the car audio game for a while and I was looking for some recommendations. I am looking for a single 12" focusing on SQ with some SPL to boot. Have about 300 or slightly more to spend. Can you recommend me a sub, amp and box enclosure?

Update: Can anyone second the recommendation of the SSA Icon? seems to be good at around 1000rms

just the sub...insurance is valuing the property at 1401.50. I am getting a $200 alpine CDE-HD137BT hdunit. I have focal component speakers in front and alpine type-s speakers in the back. I dont want to spend all 1401.50 so that I can get reimbursed some cash. This is all going in a 2004 honda civic.

the power will depend on whatever sub is recomended. my focus is sq not blowing my trunk off...btw my car is dynamated already

thanks that also took my Alpine flip out monitor + the brain for it, ipod, ipod cable, audison sub amp and alpine speaker amp...got away with like $2000

there are alot of nice subs in that price ,a dc lvl 4 or a american bass xfl both are in that range

D@mn dude. I need file a claim and say my $h!t was taken if you got &1400 for 2 type rs. Look at the ssa line for a good sq sub.

it was a a hd unit, ipod, ipod cable, 2 amps, sub subs and the box...it was alot of stuff...just left me with the speakers and cut wires

sorry im not super technical with this stuff so I cant accurately tell you trunk space or electical...ignorant on that stuff
