new sub box...got a question.

I just got a new ebay pre fab box. It's actually the right specs for my sub (mach 5 audio maw 15) but the 15 inch hole was right on the boarder of being to small. I had to..kind of force my sub into the box. Now can this be harmful to the sub? Can this effect sound quality?

you should be ok, why didn't you just use some sandpaper and sand it some?
