Here's a couple more for ya, what does the tuning come out to be once the port is in? are you cutting it any?
I like the range of impedences steve-0. lol, I can imagine the wiring it going to be pretty tricky. Especially with the crossovers like they are.

The tuning is right around 40hz I believe. I'll have to cut them ... they only need to be 7" long.

Wiring will be a bit of pain, yes ... I'll figure something out though.

I'm pretty sure the impedence works out to be right around 4ohm.

Needless to say, I won't be needing computer speakers anymore.

$400 in speakers, crossover parts($70 something), ports($25 or so), drill bit($18) and shipping($65).

$65 worth of wood, $35 for laquer/polish/wax.

Figure somewhere around $500 total.
