Meh, the SA-12 aren't really pertinent to your goal. An OA-12 would be in the same price-range and better for your application. Also to further my redundancy, I'd look to the IA Flatlyne before the Lethal Injections.

I realize going Ported requires a lot more room, but that's the price you pay for getting loud..

I see you added the 2512 to the line up... They are nice subs but require a lot of room and do not do well sealed...

the excel at sealed.... don't follow the hype they do better sealed then they do ported imo

Im not just following the hype I had one and preferred it ported... The 1500's would do better sealed IMO

it would need to be a supercharged 1500, the regular 1500 doesn't have enough motor to do as good as the 2500 does sealed.

It won't be as loud that's for sure. There are much nicer enclosure designs out there then sealed anyway.

Supercharged DDs are NOT made for sealed boxes WDW. No wonder you get groaned all the time. And I'm pretty sure that Tommy McKinnie is running some variation of a bandpass

I can go sealed or ported but most likely going ported. Ill have enough room if not I can always go with 1 sub or a size down. Yes I forgot about DD at first but once I was looking around more It popped into my head and I remembered. Im pretty sure Denim was the one that turned me onto the BL its been a while though.

lol neither are the regular ones supposedly, all the supercharging is, is a neo shorting ring not some magical device making it inoperable in a sealed enclosure. Both forms of calculations both support this idea as well. and tommy has a sealed clamshell no bandbass.

Well yes but if he wants mix Id go ported... OP look into Dayton HO's they dont need much room at all ported...

If you're sticking with sealed I would narrow it down to the ICON or the Fi Q with a High QTS option. I don't have any experience with the icons, but you said you wanted it to get low, and the Q's have no problem dropping low. So I guess it's a toss up between the two.

I changed the original post. Like 90% sure im going ported. And never heard of Dayton HO's are they the new flavor?
