Hi folks!

I acquired a pair of pioneer 4" (10cm) ts-g1032i (2 coaxial speakers) 30w rms rated. I have a HU pioneer mvh-160ui. These speakers seem to struggle with bass and I think I need to cut the bass on them. The HU seems to have a HPF but I think that it applies to all the speakers, so I think I have to make a pair of HPF to pply on the new speakers. My question is since the speakers are 4 ohm, what would be the ideal cutoff frequency? 300Hz?? What capacitor voltage and which type should I use?

Also I would like to install a pair of 6.5" (165mm) speaker set on the front doors. What suggestions do you have for me in the 50€ range? Coaxial ou 2 ways speakers?

Greetings
