new sound quality setup what do you think?

No 4x6's. Just run subs and fronts and if you take the time to tune everything properly, it's very likely you won't even miss having rears. And if you do, then you can always add them later.

MOMO's = very solid midbass, but not harsh or attacking. Highs are slightly harsh but tolerable.

TYPE R's = very clear set all around. Midbass is slightly less than the MOMO's, but very detailed.

INFINITY's = about the same as the MOMO's but with slightly harsher highs.

RSd's = the reviews are very promising, but I have not personally heard them.

And I would defnintely recommend the Xenon amp above all else.

I agree with the no 4x6s. The Type R comps I heard completely ******. Haven't heard MOMOs, and have heard things about the Infinity's being a bit harsh as well. I've seen good reviews on the RSDs. Might consider some Crystals or some entry-level CDTs. There are dozens of threads on $200 comps, so a search should yield a plethora of results.

On the amps, I would look for a good used one in the classifieds before I bought the Profile. I have a Memphis ST2004 that will do around 150w x 2 bridged. Sell it to you for $100 shipped. There are a lot of good used amps out there, so look around.

1. Oh man the OP just scored a deal!

2. Agreed.

sub amp (ap1000) does not have much rated power. Maybe look for a used AA 12" Assassin or Arsenal, they sound Really good sealed and they are cheap.

Comps DLS MS6 would be a nice middle line set with a nice A/B class amp to power them. I would not use a cheap Class D to power them.

how much airspace do these components need, im thinking about putting them in the doors so i can face them up more but there isnt much room behind my door panel.

i think im going to get the pg's i bought a 12.1 infinity kappa so that is on the way im going to run the comps off my amp now for the meantime untill i can find a good used amp in my price range.

They are designed to work with any amount of airspace. From the reviews I've read, you don't need to completely seal the doors for them to perform well.

well i have 4x6's in the front and 6x9's in the rear of my camaro im thinking about changing to a 5" speaker set for the rear and adding a 5.25 component system in the front at the kick panels also i want to make an amp rack in the back for the amps and have 2 8" subs facing forward. here is the setup i was thinking about let me know what you think good or bad and suggestions would help b/c i know yall know alot more about this stuff than i do. im planing on running the 8" subs and component system through the ap1040 amp and the 4x6 and 5" rears run through the h/u power. then the infinity kappa 12 run off the ap1000 what do you guys think of this setup?

i just got the links from the same site to make it a little easier and these prices seem to be the lowest maybe if i get em all from the same place ill save money on shipping.
That is MILES from an SQ system.

Buy one set of components and a ton of deadener for installation. One sub and an amp to power both. Spend your money on installation. If you do anything like the above it won't be an SQ system, nor will it be loud. It will just sound like ass.
