New Solara Noise

My friend recently bought a new Solara convertible. It's *completely* stock, he just ran a 3.5 male to male from his sat radio display to the AUX imput on the stock radio. It has a horrible alternator noise, but I want to ask what anyone here would recommend. I don't want to mess with anything on a brand new car, you know?

it may need a noise filter...

I know there are RCA ground loop filters. What can I use? This is a 3.5mm cable
