So, I drew this up in Sketchup. I have a couple of questions. I used .5" pieces for the port to get it a little larger than .75" allowed. It will be secured to the back and bottom pieces so I am thinking that should brace it well enough to get away with the .5" boards. Do you think this will cause any issues. Also the Port is 4.25" X 10", any problems with that ratio? According to Winisd the Port Velocity is lower than the Kicker recomended drawings so I am assuming that it should work well. The box is 2.7^3 tuned to 41Hz. I know some of you like to tune lower but again, this seems to be what Kicker recommends and if this kid blows his sub I don't want him claiming the box was the cause. Check it out. Let me know what you think. Should be starting the build in the nexy day or so.
