heres my new setup, powered by a directed 1100d, box is 6ft^3 tuned to 33 hz. its pretty loud, although i know with a better amp it could get louder.

lol, subs dual4?

i was gonna say - get another 1100d, but you are better off with somthing that does like 1800w, if you are looking for a budget amp like that, look at the power acoustick a2400b

should get you around that power range with a little headroom and should not be too hard of a hit on your wallet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lookin good tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yep, they're dual 4 ohms, i was thinking another 1100D, except i have an older one, the all black with the silver stripes, and i have had trouble finding one. ill consider the power acoustik in the link you sent. thanks man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

well, lets put it this way, setting it up, in the garage i knocked numerous garden tools off the wall, gave my mom a headache, and it makes me CD player skip because it shakes it so much.lol. but really, i haven't really heard many other systems, there isn't really a car audio "scene" where i live, everyone has low-end bestbuy/walmart setups. Its like 5 times louder than my previous system, which was 2 MTX 5500's in a prefab sealed box with 600 watts going to that. i wouldnt recomend it if you want any SQ at all, these get very very loud, but dont count on them to sound good doing so. but i would highly recomend them if you want to get loud
