New scam attempt, maybe?

Got my truck for sale on craigslist...

Got this in an email.

Hey I saw your vehicle for sale and I am interested. I am 18 and live here in town with my parents. I have the cash and want to come look at the vehicle. The thing is even though I think you are askng below bluebook, my dad is making me get the trade in value to show me before I buy any car. Can you please just plug in your car info to this site so my dad will let me buy it. Thanks http://tradeinvalue.textmeshop.com Im serious and have the cash right now to buy it. If you dont want to get the trade value maybe you could just email me the data so I could try to do it. Thanks again...and Id like to come by tonight or tomorrow.

Did not check the site, dont want to get my comp. all ****ed up.

Anyone have any ideas?

Uh, just send him the KBB trade in value. If he cant live with that, tell him to f off.

tell him to come by and tell him you have the data if he shows up, tell him your comp crashed and if he doesn't, then your still good

Looks like a spambot...There is a referral section after the .com. You're not going to get scammed, but spammed is more likely. Expect phone call after phone call as well.

Nothing happens when you click it, it's after you put in your info that it will get you. It's like one of those "lower your car insurance price" websites. I would say spam, not scam. I agree with what's posted earlier. Send him the KBB link. You probably wont hear back though.
