Im going to be buying a new router and not sure which I should go with. I had a Ryobi and wasnt very happy with it, so it never got used. Now Im tired of cutting speaker holes with a jigsaw, and would be nice to be able to round things over, and just be able to do some new things with a router.
Just not sure of which kit is better. Almost all of my tools are Dewalt, with the exception of a few Ryobi things (which always seem to give me problems). Ive never used a Porter Cable router, but they seem to be top notch. Would the Porter Cable be better over the Dewalt kit? Im not worried about the $35 price difference, and the extra .5hp wont make a huge difference I wouldnt think, since I wont be trying to spin a 1.5" roundover bit or anything crazy. Just basic straight cut, smaller roundovers, and flush trim bits. So overall, which would be better to use?
