Yeah, the mounting kit for his cd player cost like 85$! and He bought some cheap clarion unit for like 120$ on sale.. so he was pissed.. had some wires that ran allllllll the way back to the trunk! It sucked!

I didnt read all the posts in this thread because there is so much hating. But based on rims alone, I like them. I would not put them on my car but I understand how they are nice and can look good.

Only negative thing I'd say, the shape of the car throws it off. Everyone hating on them knows this... Taurus' are just ugly IMO. And although they are a huge dissed car, I think they are still good cars too man. There are so many old ones around so that proves they're long lasting... and actually there's just a lot around period so people do like them.

but yeah, I still like them although they're nothing I'd put on my car.

Those rims look like shit. You should of went with a gunmetal/silver lip.

Also, don't get that bodykit. Its ugly, just get a spoiler and a sunroof if you don't have one.

Bodykits are a pain in the ***. I only have about a popcan of clearance. Curbs, dead carcas on the road, speedbumps, potholes, dirt roads, ect ect. I have many little cracks in mine. It just sucks to hear a scccccccrrrrrraaaaapppppee when you know you've spent 2000 on a kit. Take the 2000 and save it for tint, engine, ******, ect ect. System perhaps.

or lower it.

My kit is horrible in the winter. I'm the neghborhoods snow plow in the morning.

DONT get a bodykit.

thanks for the review people....even though most of you are harsh as f*ck!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif ....anyways, just to explain a little ive had a few cars and trucks small and big but i seem to like the bigger cars better...my first car was a lincoln town car which was my favorite but i drove it like everyone drives there first car and ruined it before it had 35,000 on it.....after that i went to an s10 and didnt like the fact that only 2 could fit.....then i bought a BMW 325is and crashed it after 2 months:crying: so then i bought an eclipse and hated it cause it was basically a 2 seater......so then this car came along and i got it for $260...not bad...so i thought id be different and modify that....ive only gotten a few mods so far but im working on it and more will come a.s.a.p....i still plan on buying the kit and lowering it, ******* rear doors, popper locks all the way around, completely shave it, painting it H.O.K candy green and possibly bagging it if i can come up with the money....i do interior work so all i will have to buy is the supplies. after im done with all that it should look ok....and at shows all ill have for competition is cavaliers, sunfires, and grand am's....ill keep updating pics as the work progresses so you guys can hopefully change your mind.

Its really all about what you like. I think its a good project and something to do regardless of the car you have. You have a lot planned, I wanna see how it turns out.

well i really dont like the car either but like i said, its what i have to work with..ill try and update with pics as everything comes togeather but thanks for the positive reply.
