I'm not hating on him, but I am going to say that in 2 years he is going to feel like a real jackass when he grows tired of the car and hates how much money he has invested on it, and the terrible ROI he will be getting when he sells it. Moreover, if he instead saved for a better car for a year, he could get something more worthwhile.

If the dude wants to mod his car that's fine. But in a thread that asks for my opinion in the title, I am going to give it - wether it be praise or disdain.
