Well its been a really long time sense i posted on here. The new jeep i got brings me back tho. Not much room in a 91 wrangler, altho i love the hell of the jeep things it does.

Ok so my first problem is space. The jeep being a soft top doesnt have room for really anything. I hesitate to go sealed tho. Every setup i have heard sealed could be 10x louder ported. So what do i do? Well i can really figure it out. Then i found the stealthbox jl makes for the jeep a 12w3v3 in my armrest right next to me! Now i couldnt see where i could go wrong. Until i researched it and found its $650 price tag.

Well i cant figure out what to do is the reason im posting. I wanna see if i can find a really nice 10 that will get low, but leave me some space. Another thought was a 10" type x. Never heard them tho, and im sure the ported specs arent small. Just looking for anyone with some helpfull advice or suggestions. Even better somebody with a wrangler who knows what i am fighting with.

Thanks for reading, Hope you can help.

Thanks Rsx, I think i may just do that. Ok this this off topic but have wondered for a long time. I have searched for it but proably not using the right key words or something. But when your building a fiberglass enclosure, how do you measure the space inside it? Sorry thats proably a question thats been answered plenty.

After thought here If i took my seats out and made it a very elongated enclosure, but with the right space to go ported. Do you think this could work?

RL-i But why? i've read alot about RL and from there rep i would trust it to be a great sub. Altho here in utah i have no idea where to actually here one. I'm looking for SQ over spl. Of course have to have enough of that SPL for my rap. Which is why the X sounded so good the type r's are amazing so a X cant be much short of awesome. Well thanks for the advice guys i wont be buying anything for a week or so. So please keep comments coming, i am open to every possiblity. Not scared to do something crazy either.

Thanks again for the comments.
