what is wet sanding?

It is what you do when your finishing a surface..Use water and a tiny bit of automotive grade soap..keeps the paper from clogging up and you can see the surface that you are working on much easier...and feel the blemishes in it as well..

That's the natural texture of bondo right after spreading it when it's mixed a touch hot.... Nick!...lol

but just grab some 120 grit and go to town and it will be somewhat smooth....then the process will prolly be sand it all down wet style with 240, the next part is going to **** though - hunting down all the tiny pin holes here and there and filling them with automotive putty filler, then resanding...

Glass/bondo is EASY, but a total pain in the ***...lol

im actually doing somthing VERY similar to that, but the amprack is on the back, i figure its gonna be alot eaiser to hide the wires the way i did it.
