for everyone on here whos new to HIDs...

sunlight = 5500 - 6000 K depending on how you measure.

Brightest HID bulbs = 5000 k or 6000k aftermarket

anything at 8,000 or higher = Blue then purple then nasty purple

if you're gonna be "THAT GUY" and get the aftermarket cheap, rice HIDs from ebay for 60.00 plus shipping, please make sure you AIM your headlights right afterwards, its going to glare bad and cause you to look like a jackass.

do the newer F150s have 2 bulbs for the dim and the bright?

Does your HID kit do both?

I hate people who run hids. Fawking kills me! Then to have it on a truck, even worse!
Nice truck though, but deffintley take out the neon green.

that is why people should aim them lower.... i had to do this myself

try driving a car that sits 3/4" off the ground. where your head sits level with everyone's lights
