Im not a speaker designer, but I always thought multiple spiders helped avoid 'rocking' and helped keep motion linear. The Memphis LVS attempted to take this design feature to an extreme level by using multiple baskets to place multiple spiders very far apart. What's wrong with a single spider setup if it achieves the designer's objectives? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
In the right install the Jackhammer has been proved to be a monster. It is not practical for alot of people though, so you do not hear about it much. These vids do it more justice than that Pimp my ride show ever did.Not very many here have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Most of us wouldnt waste the money on the Jackhammer. I bet at somepoint in your life you have given advice on something you havent had hands on experiance with. Everyone does.
Even those numbers aren't all that impressive, considering the cone area involved, and cost of the driver. Send them a severed horse head, should get your point across:fyi:Wow. Im just diggin up the dirt. Im salty! I got a pair of WMD2's that were custom built using 3 spiders and guess what? The surrounds are literally being shredded by the edge of the CF cone. What do i do now? If i replace the surrounds, it just happens again. And the best PAP offered was to SELL me new recones with the same problem.
