New or Additional Amp Question

Currently I have a RF T1000-1BDCP for my subs and I am going dual 12s in a Fox Acoustic box in a 2012 Ram Crew Cab

I would like more power on tap and wonder about gain matching a 2nd one or selling it for one more powerful amp 2-3k

Birth sheet states 1509 actual power @ 1 ohm

Subs are still undecided but may go DC level 2 or similar

Box is ported 1.55 per side

I also have access to additional batteries so that is covered
