I got some new cd's on thursday:

Obie Trice - Second Rounds On Me

Young Jeezy - Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101.

I finally got them ripped today and on my MP3 CD. I went out to my car to have a listen, and the song "Thug Motivation 101" (by Young Jeezy) blew the fuses in my RE 12.1! I had never ever blown those fuses before. So I replaced the fuses, and re-set my gains a little lower. I also set my subsonic filter a little lower to see if I could get Soul Survivor to hit a little harder. Everythings good to go now. However, I havn't brought myself to turn "Thug Motivation 101" all the way up again, lol.

The weird thing about today was that the RE 12.1 fuses blew (3 40 AMP fuses, or 120 AMPS total) and my mainline fuse (which is only an 80 AMP fuse from Knukoncepz) didn't blow.

Why would that happen?

something inside the amp malfunctioning, possibly temporarily arching inside and blowing the onboard fuses?

pretty odd if the front fuse doesnt go, replace that if u can see if it happens again at the same gain setting before....if it's just the onboard fuses it's probly a problem internally if all the connections are good....
