New midbass drivers, Speaker ****

Well the first of many sets of drivers to try out arrived. Dayton Euro series 7" mids. Nice build quality and overall look to them. Will have get some baffles made to test them soon.

Their a old model. I bought them from a independent lab. Never used just ran through a dumax to get actual specs.

Played with them a bit today. 135w each is a bit much but way over thier rating //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Will play down to 48hz no problem up to about 102db. Very nice! Seem to be a very efficent driver and very fast attack and decay times. The rest off the drivers I ordered will have a tough time competing. 2-7s per door with 250 per pr should =//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif! Will update as I progress. PS I like the natural paper look. Very thick/stiff cone, nice damping, and low moving mass. A win win combination

Will be using them with a set of Morel Piccolo's. They have plenty of extension to mate up with the pics at 1800hz

I got me some Beyma power w6's. 4 of em.

imo a good deal on mids are here. USD 6.5 mids. I have a set now running and am very happy with them.
