What would be "good" is all in a matter of your opinion. Whats your budget? what do have installed currently? and what are u looking for, SPL or SQ?Hi, i was wondering what you guys thought would be the a good setup to have in a 1999 gmc sierra regular cab? i currently only have 1 12" and i'm looking to maybe get 2 12"s or something. any input? thanks
its cool man, lol. We were all newbs at one time. SQ is sound quality, they can hit a range of tones from high to low notes and be very musical. SPL is sound pressure level, speakers can get really loud for certain frequencies but are not very good for anything else. Its usually good to have something inbetween.this is probobly a dumb question but whats spl and sq? my budget is around 300-400 i currently only have a sony xplod and a pionner 300 watt amp but im looking to get all new i was thinking about going with a power acoustik bamf series amp and idk what for the subs.
x2 Do some research on some of the things people on here use.it would be better if you spend some time searching these things so you get acclimated to the site and to the terms that are commonly used. we could spout off any old thing and if you don't know what we're talking about you could end up with stuff you don't want. so do some research on here for a while. look around for a bit. then come back with more specifics on what you're looking for
