Hello all !! New to the site here and had a question that I’m sure is very simple for you all but is a great mystery to me . I have a 5 channel amp that I will be using in my truck . 4 channels to the 4 doors and the 5th channel to a sub .. what I’m wanting to do is run the 4 doors at 4ohm and the sub at 2ohm . Is this possible to mismatch the ohm load between the 4 channels and the single channel .. thanks for any and all replies ..

Great , I Appreciate it .. the Amp is a PPI 5.2200 , The 6.5s are Skar TX65C and I was waiting to order my subs when I knew the answer to this question so I got the right ones ..

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
