So i finally got my amp and the car audio place down the street wants $100 to put it in...so im going to do it myself. I have the JL 500-1v2 going to two 10w3v2's. I just have a few questions. There are two + and two - output terminals on that mono amp. Why??? Is that just for an easy install of two amps? Should just hook up each sub to their own + and negative terminals? Also what gauge wire should I use from the battery to the amp? How about the amp to the speakers? Anything else i should know before doing this? I might take it to the audio place and have all the knobs set right, there are a lot... Thanks for all the help!

Thanks, what about the battery output terminals on the amp?

Ya...I was just being lazy but i finally read through it and have one more question. I have the JL500-1 going to 2 10w3v2's (300watt 4ohm) that are in a box with a positive and negative terminal on each side of the box. Each side reads 7.3ohms. If i wire each terminal on the sub box to thier own positive and negative terminal on the amp (The JL has two of each and says it connects them in parallel) will I still be getting 7.3ohms? Or will it cut it down to around 4ohms?
