And i had the problem with the fcking woodpanelling as well in my master bedroom. We ended up painting over it and it came out really well i think. Might think about it in the future. yea we are stripping the wallpapper off and everything.. this chick i have been ****in, her mom is a pro. interior designer. so im just gunna give here 2-3k cash and tell her 2 batchlor's live here .... go crazy

Well, i thought i had some better pics, and i might, ill have to check my phone i a minute. But for now i found this one in my picturetrail.

This whole room was woodpaneling before, looked like ***, couldnt stand it. So the first 2 weeks we moved in, we stayed in the guest room and painted this.

Took 3 coats of primer, and 3 coats of paint, but its definatly worth it. if you look close, you can see the spaces between the wood which is the only way you can really tell its old wood paneling.

My girl was telling me to do it, and at first i was hesitant, didnt think it would look right. But it turned out way better then i thought. Good, cheap way to get rid of it IMHO.

My girl is big into "accent" walls. And when done right, they really look good. That room has 3 creme walls and the then the red accent wall. All the trim and roof is a super white. Came out great IMO, im uploading a before pic. HUGE difference, lol.

That actually looks really good if you decorate it the same way. Ive also seen people do a black ceiling along with it and put small glow in the dark stuff so it looks like stars. Kinda neat.
