Hey everyone, I decided it was finally time to make a post. I've been lurking around here for the last couple months, and this site is no doubt the best for anything car audio. I decided I would become a member when I needed help picking out my system.
Yesterday was the last day of high school for me, and it's time to get a new car. I really have my eyes on a '93-'95 Acura Legend.
Figured it was time for a new "system" for the new ride.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif
Right now I have...
-Phoenix Gold R:08 (something like that) 4-channel, 80 watts x 4 @ 4-ohms
-Clif Design 6 1/2" components
And that's pretty much it. I use to have a couple infinity subs in a pre-fab box, but I sold it to save up for the new system.
Oh and I just ordered an Eclipse CD-4000 headunit from Crutchfield about an hour ago.
I'm not a noob when it comes to car audio, but I'm not an expert either....This is what I'm looking to spend
-$200-$250 for new components, I will most likely use the Clif components for rear fill
-I already know about KnuKonceptz for all the wiring
-$300 for sub amp
-$300-$400 for sub(s)
-Raam mat sound deadener, about 150 sq ft probably
I'm really looking for a great sound quality set up. I want components that have good midbass, with nice warm highs too. I love the highs on my Clif Design components, they just don't give as much midbass as I'd like.
For the sub(s) I want deeeeeeeep, clean, accurate bass that sounds great when I listen to Tom Petty, but also has the ability to get LOUD when I listen to Young Jeezy.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
I'd appreciate it if any of you could help me pick out a system for me.....
Thanks alot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif
