Hey guys just a 19 year old kid looking to increase my knowledge in car audio and get some advice. My current set up is a 2008 Police Interceptor crown victoria with Hfi Hifonics 2000d mono amp, cvx 15 4 ohm kicker, stock speakers, 2 gauge wire. Im looking into doing 2 cvx 15s and i need some box ideas lol

sell that kicker locally and get some better subs man, what were you planning on spending on that extra kicker...?

On a serious note, list your goal and your budget, you will get some good advice.

For the extra kicker probably around 230 plus i gotta get a custom box thatl cost around 300 probably. My goal is to be able to do hair tricks with two 15s in my vehicle. My budget right now is about 800-1000 more to put into everything. If i WERE to sell my existing set up i could maybe get 500 for it probably not even that. Idk if my goal is possible with this budget but I know the box is the main thing. I've looked into maybe getting a quote from Dave the box guy but itl probably b to much

so roughly 1400 max with your budget? and a hair trick, very interesting, you want ALOT of air moving now, how much space do you have, with that budget i'd go overkill myself with 2 18's but that would require a very large enclosure

Yeah around there would b right if i did decide to sell my setup which idk if i will. And correct on the Air movement. My one cvx is hitting pretty decent right now and sounds good but i would like it to b way louder. I can measure my trunk within the next few days here to let you know the space available thanks for the input and what not. I am looking to keep everything in the trunk obviously without removing seats. I've heard and seen people porting a 4th order threw the rear deck but idk if this is necessary for what i want since the price to have someone build one is rediculously expensive. I have built one box before but trying to build a 4th order will b a challenge and a half

jk man you could cut into your rear deck, I did that with a Lincoln town car... the top deck I cut through the foam and stuff to get air flowing into the cabin... im not sure if that would be a option for you...

Yeah i would do a wall if i didn't have a budget plus I'd rather have a back seat lol and yeah all around. I planned on getting a kinetik bettery some second skin for the trunk and as for speakers ill just do those later on. But yeah budget for another sub, box, battery, deadner, and the big 3 thats all i can think of the top if my head. As for alternators i have a 200 amp alternator which im sure ill b fine with but if i can figure out a good alternator that has 250 plus or figure out i need more than the 200 ill consider the alternator as well but id rather b able to stick with the 200

cool cool, to get some air moving i'd go with 15's or 18's that take 1000+ rms bro
