You retarded son? Backplate is almost identicle to a tc9, and pics without the boot on? i can guess as to the slugs. Older tc9's used 3 slugs.... i would put money on the fact it is a tc9 knockoff. simple as that. and as said above.. several spl woofers have used tc9's I would suggest you remove your fanboi blinders and really look at the woofer.

Fanboi? I could care less about this sub or company, I was just posting some new info. I have no intentions in buying anything they have to offer son! They all look the same with the classic basket design... Cant tell one from the other these days... Once again, just posting a new sub. No interest in it.

Aslong as they listed rms power next to the peak, I wouldnt care..

They have already proven themselves to make solid amps, as they are ex pg engineers.. Why did they put peak to peak there, I dont know, probably marketing, but that would not steer me away from a brand simply for that. Especially knowing morgans track record.

What? Apparently you cant comprehend what I just said. When I said I didnt care about the company, I was refering to exile, since I was being called a fan boi of it. Simply isnt true.. They make nice amps, but I'm not going to loose any sleep over them. I am well aware of tc sounds, and all the business practices.. Back to the thread, you either like the sub, or you dont..

Because you are savvy enough to know better. Obviously those little spec tricks are not meant for the likes of you or me. When Exile knowingly chose to list 'xmax peak to peak' they knowingly were attempting to artificially hype their product specs to consumers who are not savvy enough to know better. If their products are worth praising, their real specs should stand on their own merit. Exile did not list a true xmax figure next to their peak to peak figure, did they? Trickery is what it is, no mattery how you try to sugar it up for us here.
This is not a condemnation of the entire company, just their choice in this matter. I really dont follow Exile well enough to know if this an anomoly for them, or business as usual. But it certainly puts a poor taste in my mouth.

I guess I could see where you are coming from.. More or less, I guess it would depend on who you talk to, as to weather it bothers them or not..
