I didn't say they were alike dumbfuck.
The only reason UGK isn't as famous is they never sold out and went mainstream like Outkast did.
ok first off, yes you did, dont get your panties in a bunch. not only did you say they were alike
you said they were the same thing... YOU DUMBFVCK
and ugk did go mainstream or try, theres no doubt about it. and outkast didnt sell out, the closest thing they came to it was Stankonia, the album you praised earlier.
Speakerboxxx/Love Below could be seen the same, but thats just andre having his own disc and experimenting with whatever he wanted to do, I don't think they "sold out" to anyone
oh and listening to an album daily and listening to a few tracks off an album is different, so maybe you shouldnt try to exaggerate your love for eminem and how much u listen to his shit in the first place if you only listen to 3 songs off his first two cd's. Then say "I listen to his first 3 albums daily". because thats not the same thing
Fair enough, just every time there is a discussion about the 'great' artists and lyricists out there, he is almost never mentioned (on this forum anyway), and imo he's one of the best...
your opinion on him?
one of the best ever no doubt. Wrote possibly the greatest rap CD of all time at the age of 17, cant touch that. These days though, like so many others... ehhh I'll pass
and jay-z ftl? wtf, I think you are just hating at this point, pre black album no1 can touch jay

well that explains it, you know rap started there right? (unless you want to believe ali invented rap)
and you know the vast majority of good shit comes out of there right?
Try listening to some shit from the golden age, not hot 97
