New digital designs budget woofers

Tho the 700 series does look nice i still think they are going to be on the higher side for subs in that "power rating". Now if these came out priced like the Sundown SA line now this would easily be top seller in subs on a budget or for a spl build because people could afford a bunch of these for spl builds
Dd is already competitively priced through most dealers .. Very comparable to sa's upper lines price wise .. And honestly I'm thinking even the Msrp on the new redline series is gunna be real nice .. I mean the whole reason they did the line is to make budget woofers .. There's a whole sha-peel on my email how these will bring more people to the dd family and yada yada .. So I guess well see tomorrow but I'm thinking right around 250 /275 maybe for the 700 series

Also forgot to say, that was back when they had the "g" series, I didn't bother to call them when any of the newer series came out.

Hello there guys. I am a total newbie when it comes to building a system. But I'm giving it a shot. I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado extended cab. So far I have installed a Kenwood KDC X997 head unit, Focal integration 6.5" components in front doors, Polk 4x6's in rear doors, and two Polk 8" subs in a prefab box under rear seat. The Focals are powered by an Arc Audio KS300.4 amp. The Polks in the rear door are powered by the head unit. And the subs are powered by a Phoenix Gold Octane R-4.0.2. I want to replace the subs and box. I was considering going with either 2 or 4 of the DD 8" subs in a ported box that i can have made in a local shop.I haven't decided on an amp to power them yet. Any input on a compatible amp? And is 4 subs overkill or will two 8's be enough? I listen to everything across the board but mostly hard rock. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
