Id be interested in hearing the prices for any 1000w+ amps or any of the middle-high quality component amps. Is this a new line of amps other than the d5 or d7?

BTW, did diamond come out with any new subs this yeaR?

Ill call on Monday to get firm pricing. I currently only have dealer pricing.

The new subs are the D9 as well as D9 amps and components.

HEX and D3 will all stay current.

D6 will be the middle lineup with new amps,comps and subs.

Eric77, the 'above 1000w' amps would be the D9 2000.1 (2000W), D6 1000.1 (1000W) and D6 1500.1 (1500W)

do you know if they did away with the D7 or if they renamed it? my local dealer didnt get there price sheet yet, but they were told that D7 is gone and that the D9 now had class a/b and class d amps (where the D7 were all a/b, even the monoblocks).

cant wait to get the D9 components, my HEX had a good two year run, but its time to move on.

that appears to be a black tdx. take a look at the frame and cone, they are the same but black. i wonder if it just cosmetics?

same thing i noticed, the cone and dust cap is black, and i guess its badged D9 now also.

so the amp in the pic is the D9? At what load will it produce 2000 rms? (crosses fingers for 2ohms)

if it is a redesigned tdx it might be worth looking into again. i had a d5 1200.1 on a single tdx 12" at 14 volts on average. we tested the output of it and it was about 1430 watts. i was blowing them left and right with 1400 watts of actual power.

yea, i know. i blew two as well, and it was normally because of my stupidity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif havent had problems with the tdx and D7401 (800watts), and it sounds just as loud to me.

i some what doubt that they redesigned it, looks more like a mild refresh is what it is. we'll see though, no info yet released.

I was told that the new tdx is purely cosmetic differences.

life's a *****, I just bought a full diamond install! I was happy with the pricing though, still need a D5 1200.1 amp if anyone's selling!
