Be smart, Sell it before you're too far behind.

Too far behind now to sell it. I doubt I could get another loan for another vehicle now, I'm stuck with it.

Stick with low grip tires and ditch the nitrous then. Maybe get a cam thats not so agressive as well.

Nittos are junk,hence why no domestic cars run them in any sorta compitition.......If you want to hook up youll need a 15" rim and a Mickey Thompson Drag Radial

Lots of domestic cars use Nittos. On top of that I cut my best 60' with 275 Nittos and stock suspension, which was a 1.78... of course the motor was heat soaked so the ET was so-so. With 285 Nittos and an aftermarket suspension I would think 1.7's would be an average 60'... of course that would depend if they prep the track well or not, lately they have not been.

The cam is fine. Nitrous is almost never used and the car is tuned very safe for it (15 degress of timing & running alittle rich), on top of that race fuel is used to keep detonation down when I know I'm going to spray. The car has been having some sensor issues lately, it hasn't been fun.
