Yea, they always test free-air for what it's worth,. The Flxx will hold up. I just don't see any point in getting them unless you like the green basket. They are no improvement upon the OA or SA or etc line. Just another starting block.

type r's are some of the best budget subs...at least they used to be. idk about the new ones

i mean they sound good an get low in the enclosure i have them in i just figured the flxxs would be better also adding another 2 so 6 total

weak sauce for 4 15s. but on another not the flxx amps look pretty cool.

plus i added electrical to the system wiring an 2 batteries

double the power on the type r's and you would be better off then buying new subs.

well thats what i was gonna do by 6 new flxx 15s
