I was set on getting a rainbow soundline set of components. I now see that they do not offer the kickbass version in 5.25" They are also very low in the power handling.

I am looking to spend less than $300 shipped. 5 1/4" : 5 1/2" comp set. I basically want the best set for midbass with a silk tweet.

powered by ~120w rms.

thanks in advance.

midbass out of a 5.25 is a tough order my friend. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i personally would say get the rainbows.

i have the SLC265 non kickbass and theres more than enuf midbass for me in the stock location.

Aye, thats what i have heard, but can they handle 120W? they are listed as 60W max.

just keep the gains down, both the amp and comps will thank you for it. Midbass is more install dependent than anything, I remember a national SQ competitor using 5.25 inch midbass drivers and his was more prominent than some of the 8 inch installs.
