Have been trying to read up on these CLD tiles compared to having full mat coverage, without much avail on the effectiveness. If these panels are so effective why are many people still using mat to cover 100% of the surface possibly in multiple layers?
Wouldn't a layer of 80 mil butyl/aluminum, a layer of MLV, and a layer of CCF be the most effective of all methods? If I can get away with only needing 1/4 the butyl, I would use only that much.
At this point only looking to do trunk, doors are next on list then rear doors, possibly floor/interior panels. Would like to know most budgetable and effective method to be able to cover more of the interior for less.
